Here are the guidelines for uploading your entry/es:

1. Read and understand all the requirements & specifications, and guidelines needed before uploading your submission.

2. Gather your imagery and create a PDF/word doc as a PREVIEW FILE that contains: 

• Your Name/Artist Pseudonym
• Your Contact information (email, hometown & current residing country)
• Your preview image/s (scale down thumbnail,  title/s*, short descriptions of the series/images (suggested 300-word) to fit under 5MB file.
• Crew List/Team Credit*
• Wardrobe/Accessories* List (if fashion/beauty shoot)
• Short bio - 3rd Person (300 words max)
• Website & Social Media link/s*(Instagram/Facebook/Blog/etc)

3. Save the preview file and upload it to the submission section. We only accept ONE PDF, doc, zip, or jpg, preview format under 5 MB for selection purposes only. You can send a Dropbox/Google Drive/Online Cloud Storage link for preview only. 

or you can upload them using my Playbook Drop File account.

4. Wait for the confirmation email for further action. See "Important Dates" for your reference on the Information Tab. 

5. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out via message or email.

Notification: within 1-5 Business Days after submission. Information that we received from your submission. It does not mean your submission is accepted or rejected. We will send you a confirmation email to say whether your entry is accepted.

Confirmation Email Distribution Date: An email that your submission is accepted and you need to send the high-resolution images. We will give you all the details/checklist within 2 weeks.

Please be advised that not all images will be included in the publication. In the confirmation email, you will be advised the approved images will be included in the issue. We will send you an upload link where you need to upload or send your high-resolution image/s. By this time, you can still modify and revise the details that you sent in your preview file. Once you send it, then it will be locked so please review it before finalizing and sending your content. We will not be held accountable for any mistake, missing, or misspelled information.

If you are submitting the editorial and you are not the photographer, please confirm and present to us the permission/acknowledgment/release form from the photographer who owns the copyright to the images. 

We reserve the right to give our own title to an editorial. We will consider any title you provide but may go against it if we feel it is not appropriate for the editorial or if we think of another feasible option. 

The Lookbook Magazine does not provide free print copies, as presently the publication is printed exclusively through Blurb, Blurb prints-by-purchase (Print-in-Demand). We also do not pay for submissions, all photoshoot/project expenses for a submission to the magazine are covered by the team conducting the project. We would be happy to send out digital tearsheets should you want them before they publish the date so you can send them to your team and add them to your credentials.

Please note that we do not commission or pay for your editorials as we are an independent magazine company and do not have the budget to do so at the moment.

Rejection Reasons:

• Submitted after the deadline.
• The quality of the image does not meet the standards. 
• The submission does not fit the holistic theme of the issue.
• Discovered inappropriate, discrepancy, or misused on your submitted entry. Submitting the work of others without permission is not tolerated. 

Although your entry got rejected due to any of the above-stated reasons, we will not have time to state which of the reasons applied to the submission. Please note that all submissions will NOT be replied to, you will receive an acceptance email once your submission has been accepted, if you don’t receive a reply within 7-10 days after the Confirmation Email Date then it was not accepted; you do not need to send multiple emails to receive a reply. But do not be discouraged, if we see some potential in your image/s, we can consider it in future issues.
